  • Dimensions 25 × 17 × 9 cm The Timur Collection is based on the classic Peranakan style of dining that celebrates our heritage of food in Indonesia with generous portions for meals enjoyed with family and friends. For the collection’s shapes we turned to old style pottery in the extensive antique collection of Jenggala’s longtime friend, the late Rudy Giusti. Historically the Peranakan culture was the marrying of two cultures, and this new collection does much the same with styles of western Indonesia combined with accents from the far eastern part of the archipelago in East Nusa Tenggara. The collection’s shapes and colors are reminiscent of classic ceramic ware, while the decorative finish incorporates intricate ikat woven fabric patterns from the Nusa Tenggara Island of Timor. Made of stoneware this Timur Collection Medium Oval Bowl is good size for serving soups, salads and rice dishes or an interesting centerpiece.

CD - THE BELFAST SESSIONS

This, our latest collection of songs, was recorded at RedBox Studios in Belfast. We’ve wanted to record there for awhile now and finally the timing was right for all. Dónal O’Connor one of the owners, produced it with expertise, poise, patience and not a few threats, the main one being “no more Guinness till youse get this track right.” Inspirational words indeed! He was somehow able to corral us and steer us in the right direction on each song. I’m sure he’d love to work with us again – maybe! We had a great time all together recording there, and hopefully dear fans you’ll enjoy listening. In these uncertain times remember, music hath charms to soothe a savage breast. I think that was a quote from Paul McCartney, or possibly Bob Dylan. Enjoy!
